Empowered Health was born in the midst of the owners own personal pursuit of health and wellness. Brittany Hanlon is a Nationally Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She pursued her undergraduate education locally at the University of New Mexico. As a masters degree student she moved to Boston to complete her Family Nurse Practitioner Program at Simmon’s University. As the saying goes, the Land of ‘Entrapment’ (and her family) brought her back across the country to her home state of New Mexico where she is a proud Auntie to 5 little munchkins! Although she has no children of her own (yet) she proudly carries the title of Auntie Brittany to not only her biological nieces and nephews but to all the kiddos of her close dear friends and family. 🤍🤍🤍 Brittany has worked within various healthcare settings in her work as a Registered Nurse over the last decade. She has served the American Veteran population from Albuquerque New Mexico to very rural Vermont, New York, Maine, Massachusetts and Connecticut. She has also spent many years with a focus on End of Life Care as a home health Hospice nurse. Although classically trained in Western Medicine, she spent 2 years under a preceptorship in Integrative Medicine and developed a deep passion for hormone replacement therapy, thyroid optimization and vitamin nutrition evaluation and supplementation. Brittany is a very passionate Nurse Practitioner who wants to bring her love for health and wellness to her community.
